Our LLO Mobile App

The information below should answer most questions about the app. However, if you have additional questions please reach out to leadingladies@mckayunlimited.com.

Account and Membership:

  • How do I create an account?
    • Download the app and click on the “Sign Up” button then follow the prompts to  set up your account credentials.
  • How do I upgrade from simply having an ‘account’ to having a ‘membership’ 
    • If you wish to upgrade your account to a membership and access additional features and resources, either follow the prompts to membership in the app, or log into your account via the McKayUnlimited.com website (as this is the ‘home’ of LLO, your app login details sync with the website, so they are the same) and either visit the “Learn More & Membership” page, or go to ‘Shop.’ Here, you’ll find the available upgrade options, along with details on pricing and benefits. Select the desired plan and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the upgrade process.
  • I already have a Leadership Lab Annual Pass, do I need to pay full price for the Pro membership?
    • No, we will provide you with a discount code that will reduce the cost of the Pro membership. This will be pro-rated based on how long ago you bought the Lab Pass.
  • I am new to Leading Ladies Of… so how do I learn more?
    • Visit our website and visit the ‘Learn More & Membership’ page for a comprehensive overview and introductory video.
  • Can I become a member if I do not work in Aerospace, Defense, or Space?
    • Absolutely! We encourage people to get to know these industries as we recognize that similar challenges are faced by women in other fields. In addition, once you get to know our community you might want to come and work in aerospace, defense, or space.
  • Can I delete my account and information?
    • Yes, you can delete your account and its information. Please note that deleting your account CANNOT BE UNDONE. Once you delete your account all of your information, including your login details, will be lost and you will lose all access to the Leading Ladies Of… App.If you are still sure that you wish to delete your account, go to your profile. At the bottom you will see a Delete Account button that will walk you through the process of deletion. If you running into trouble or need support please email us at leadingladies@mckayunlimited.com and we can delete your account manually as well.

   Community Interaction:

  • Can I message other members privately?
    • Yes, our platform offers a messaging system that allows you to communicate directly with other members. Simply navigate to a member’s profile and click on the “Direct Message” button to initiate a conversation.
  • Are there discussion forums or groups?
    • We have a community discussion section with various threads organized by category. This section allows members to engage in conversations, share insights, meet in-person at industry events, and connect with like-minded individuals.

    Privacy and Security:

    • How is my personal information protected?
      • At Leading Ladies Of… your privacy and safety is our highest priority. None of your data is sold to third parties or shared externally. We also do not store any of your sensitive information in our Leading Ladies Of… app. We use Auth0, an industry leader, for all of our authentication and identification.

    Legal Information:

    • What are the copyright policies for content on the app?
      • All content available on our platform, including articles, media, and resources, is protected by copyright laws. Members are permitted to use this content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any unauthorized distribution, reproduction, or commercial use of our content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

    Billing and Payments:

    • How does the billing process work?
      • Our billing process is straightforward and secure. If you sign up for a paid membership, you’ll be prompted to provide your payment information. Billing occurs on a recurring basis (annually) until you cancel your membership subscription. You can cancel your membership for the next year at any time after you sign up for membership and will also be promted (via email) before your membership renews.

    Terms of Service and Policies:

    • What do I do if someone is harassing me or spamming in the app?
      • We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or abuse of any kind. If you experience harassment or inappropriate behavior from another member, please report it immediately by contacting our team. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action as necessary.
      • Similarly, while we encourage you to build business relationships, we do not allow uninvited solicitation for products and services people may wish to sell. 
      • Failure to comply with the above bullet points may result in your removal from the app.

    Training and Tutorials:

    • Are there any tutorials or guides available to help me get started?
      • Yes, while we have designed the app to be as intuitive as possible, we understand that navigating a new platform can be challenging, which is why we offer a variety of tutorials and guides to help you get started. These resources cover topics such as setting up your account, using various features, and making the most of your membership. You can access these tutorials and guides in the “Guides” section of our app and on our website.
